Bobbi Storm, Gospel Singer, Kicked off Delta?

Gospel singer Bobbi Storm, was seen being escorted off a Delta flight after she refused to comply with a flight attendant’s request to stop singing. The incident occurred on November 13, 2023, and has since sparked a heated debate online.

The video, which was captured by a fellow passenger, shows the flight attendant asking Storm to lower her voice. However, the singer, known for her powerful vocals, refused to comply, leading to her removal from the flight.

The incident has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with some users siding with the flight attendant, arguing that rules must be respected regardless of one’s status. Others, however, have come to Storm’s defense, stating that the situation could have been handled more diplomatically.

Delta Airlines has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. Meanwhile, Storm’s representatives have also remained silent, leaving many to speculate about the details of the incident.

This incident is not the first time a celebrity has been removed from a flight due to non-compliance with airline rules. It serves as a reminder that regardless of fame or status, all passengers are expected to adhere to the same standards of behavior during a flight.

“I’m doing what the Lord is telling me to do,” the artist says in the video.

In the clip posted to Instagram on Friday (Nov. 10), the gospel artist is told to sit down by the flight attendant. “I sing for the Lord,” she said. “I’m doing what the Lord is telling me to do.”

The flight attendant eventually told her,  “If you’re not able to follow my instructions, you will not be able to take this flight.” When she took her seat, Storm announced to the fellow passengers that she’s “up for two Grammys,” and proceeded to sing her new song “We Can’t Forget Him” at a soft volume.

While Storm is a featured vocalist on Maverick City Music’s The Maverick Way, which is nominated for best gospel album at the 2024 Grammys, the singer herself is not nominated for any awards at next year’s ceremony.

“At the end of the day God is glorified!!!! Tell me, how are you choosing love on purpose??? Blessings to you all from your #FearlessFlightSinger,” Storm captioned her Instagram post, noting in the comments that “no laws” were “broken.”
